Congrats on the novel work! That's an excellent reason to not blog terribly much. (I should be writing Thirteen Ribbons like that, but life has been so disrupted over the last few months here....)
As far as boxes go... we're moving also, but this time it's even closer to Seattle. Instead of being out in a 'burb, we're landing in north Seattle and sharing a somewhat large place between several people who (should be able to) get along rather well. It's definitely cheaper overall than living where we are now. It's not that our finances have forced us into it, but that we're taking every advantage we can get right now because there's just no guarantee against lean times right now except for having strong social groups who act as a mini-safety-net. If y'all can get back to where you have more people nearby to help with that, it'll definitely be a good thing.
